Manly Attractions

Swim with sharks at a world class aquarium, search for souvenirs along the famous Corso or simply laze on the golden sands of one of Australia’s most loved beaches! Here is just a small selection of the great attractions within easy reach of our Manly Beach Accommodation.

Shopping and Dining

From designer fashion to one-off market bargains, the Manly shopping scene has something for everyone. One of the most popular places to bargain hunt is Manly Corso, a lively hub of shops and alfresco cafes popular with locals and visitors from all over the world. If you’re looking for a bite to eat after a long day at the beach, you’ll find 11 cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes of Manly Beach House, with everything from wood-fired pizza to Thai food on offer.  Below are some of our restaurant and cafe neighbours:

We also love the Manly weekend markets where you'll find everything from souvenirs to jewellery.  Click here for more info.

Beaches and Natural Attractions

With its long stretch of golden sand and sparkling surf, it’s not difficult to see why Manly is thought of as Sydney’s premier beach destination. Located less than 5 minutes from our Affordable Manly Beach Apartments, the world famous beach is sure to become the focal point of your break. If you fancy a change of pace, you can pack a picnic and head into lush eucalypt forest at Sydney Harbour National Park, or embark on a kayaking adventure across the harbour to some of the region’s most isolated beaches.

Family Attractions

Manly is a destination for all ages and there is a huge selection of attractions and activities to check out with the kids during your break. Animal lovers can get up close to some of the beautiful and bizarre sea creatures that make Sydney Harbour their home at The Manly Sea Life Sanctuary, while thrill seekers will love the giant waterslides on offer at Manly Waterworks (open October to April.) Those families with energy to burn can take a surfing lesson in the temperate waters of the Pacific or hire a bike, scooter or even a skateboard to explore the seaside suburb in style.

Manly Ferry to City

Even though this is a public transport service (paid tickets required), we think it's as much an attraction as a transport service.  The Manly Ferry is a great way to get to the city, but also a great way to see the city from the harbour itself.  The views are simply spectacular as you arrive at Circular Quay.   This is a must when visiting Manly.
